Day 1 - Magic Kingdom

Arrived at the Magic Kingdom in time to watch the grand opening ceremony - have to admit to having a wee tear in my eye watching Mickey and friends arrive by Disney Railroad to declare the park open! Then followed a completely mad day of roller coasters, getting drenched, fantastic shows and the usual dollops of Disney magic. Thomas has developed a new-found love of Big Thunder Mountain and a distinct dislike of Splash Mountain, William lived Orlando's version of Space Mountain, and Neil & I loved the fact that even the restrooms at Magic Kingdom are air-conditioned!

Thomas loved trying to give me whiplash in Indy Speedway!

We got really cool "1st visit" badges to wear!
